Hawai‘i High School Summer Program – Marine Science Course on Fishery and Resource Management

The Council is again pleased to sponsor the annual high school summer course on marine science and fishery management. It will be held from  June 9 to July 14, 2015, at Moanalua High School in Honolulu. Some of the topics that will be covered in the course include Hawai’i fisheries, ocean safety, resource monitoring and research, resource conservation and management, and industry and marketing. Course activities include fishing events, guest lectures, class activities, field trips, water safety, CPR and First Aid certifications and more!
