On May 8, 2020, the Western Pacific Regional Fishery Management Council sent a letter to President Trump with preliminary comments on burdensome and unnecessary barriers to US fisheries in need of removal as called for in the President’s EO 13921 on Promoting American Seafood Competitiveness and Economic Growth.
